Here I am again

This abstract "Cityscape" painting is for my living room. I was planning to use more lighter colors, but I like this combination.

Like already few weeks, I really don't  have time to paint in the beginning of the week, so instead of the painting here are photos of the pine tree new spring shoots ("candles").

Rhinoceros

I chose to paint for the Monochromatic challenge today. I took the picture of this rhinoceros in January  in Atlanta Zoo.

I love to paint with palette knife, but always after using only palette knife for a while comes this longing to use brushes, so for this painting I used no 8 and 12 Brights.

I really like sunny yellow lately, willing for warm summer to arrive sooner.
I painted this with palette knife.

I started this painting already in February, together with my palette knife painting with the same tulips, but wasn't happy with vases on picture. Changes they forms and colors few times and decided it's finished now.
